CTA Opens Registration For Tech Week

Registration is now open for Tech Week in April, the Consumer Technology Association (CTA) announced.

CTA Tech Week includes CES on the Hill, Lobby Day and the Digital Patriots Dinner.

CES on the Hill, an invitation-only event, kicks off the week in Washington on Tues., April 19. Exhibitors will demonstrate to members of Congress, key congressional staff and media some of the innovative and disruptive technology at the center of today’s top tech policy debates. The innovation on display will underscore how technology is changing the world and fueling our nation’s economy and job growth, said CTA.

Lobby Day will be held April 20 by CTA members, who will provide policy makers with a first-hand account of the real-world impacts of their policy decisions.

The 12th Annual Digital Patriots Dinner will be held Wednesday evening at the Marriott Marquis. The dinner recognizes the achievements of government and industry leaders who advance innovation in consumer technology and support a legal and regulatory framework that allows the industry to flourish. This year’s award recipients will be announced in the coming weeks.

On April 21, CTA will host a workshop and reception for the local start-up community at 1776 Crystal City. Co-sponsored by the Crystal City Bid, the night will hold the workshop “How to Pitch to the Media….and do it Right,” where start-ups will learn how to position their companies and products to the media, followed by a reception. This event is open to start-ups only.
