Ford CEO Fields To Keynote CES

Arlington, Va. — Ford Motor Co. president/CEO Mark Fields will deliver a keynote address at the 2015 International CES, the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA) announced.

Owned and produced by CEA, the 2015 CES will run Jan. 6-9, 2015, in Las Vegas.

Fields’ keynote address immediately follows the State of the Industry address by Gary Shapiro, CEA president/CEO, which begins at 8:30 a.m., Tuesday, Jan. 6, in the Venetian’s Palazzo Ballroom.  During his keynote, Fields will address what’s next for Ford and discuss the company’s commitment to innovation in all parts of its business.

“Ford is a global leader in delivering innovative technology solutions that enhance the experience of owning, driving and riding in cars,” said Shapiro. “From launching in-car connectivity systems to pioneering new safety technologies, Ford continues its impressive legacy of embracing innovation. We are excited that Mark is joining us at the 2015 CES. As automobiles increasingly become mobile technology platforms, we look forward to hearing his vision for the future.”

Fields became president/CEO of Ford July 1, previously serving as its COO.
