DEI Holdings Raises $500K For Charity

Vista, Calif. – DEI
Holdings and the DEI Children’s Charitable Foundation, a not-for-profit
organization, announced that its 2011 charitable events resulted in donations
of nearly half a million dollars to beneficiaries in San Diego’s North County,
as well as Baltimore and Montreal.

DEI Holdings is the
parent company of Polk Audio, Definitive Technology and Directed Electronics.

Jim Minarik, CEO of DEI
Holdings, said in  statement, “For the
past 10 years, our foundation has taken the lead in raising millions of dollars
for our beneficiaries including Solutions for Change, the Boys & Girls
Clubs, Casa de Amparo, and other fine organizations who help disadvantaged
youth. More recently, we have partnered with other like-minded organizations —
including the Issa Family Foundation and Datron World Communications — to
supplement the continued support of our suppliers, customers, associates and
other generous donors and take our charitable giving to new heights.”

The DEI Holdings
