Newark, Calif. — Watch out, Otterbox: Logitech is taking you on.
The company launched the first products under its new Logi brand, a series of rugged iPad cases that are engineered to withstand 6-foot drops on concrete. The Blok line is made up of three models — a shell and two cases, one with a detachable Bluetooth keyboard — all with cushioned, impact-absorbing corners.
The Blok Protective Shell, designed for the iPad Air 2 and all iPad Minis, comes in black, red/violet or teal/blue for a $39.99 suggested retail.
The Blok Protective Case ($69.99) for the iPad Air 2 builds in an adjustable stand and a screen cover, while the Protective Keyboard Case ($129) adds a detachable Bluetooth keyboard that also serves as a screen cover. The former comes in black, red/violet or teal/blue, while the latter is offered in black or teal/blue.
Shipping is slated for August.
