LittleOne.Care Launches AI-Powered Wearable For Infants

Device is designed to support parents and caregivers during the critical first 1,000 days

LittleOne.Care has launched Elora, an AI-powered wearable designed to support parents and caregivers during the critical first 1,000 days—from conception through a baby’s first two years. This period is recognized for its significant impact on lifelong health, and Elora aims to enhance baby wellness by offering advanced monitoring and personalized insights.

“In introducing Elora, our goal is to provide parents and caregivers with tools in which they feel empowered to make informed decisions that positively impact their baby’s future growth and development, and we feel we’ve delivered on that in spades,” said Ami Meoded, chief marketing officer, LittleOne.Care. “Elora delivers a lot of ‘firsts’ in the baby monitoring space to the point it represents an entirely new category of baby care, with the most important role it can play being serving as an ally during every step of baby’s journey, from prenatal to well beyond, and guiding his or her development for a healthy, happy life.”

Unlike traditional baby monitors, Elora does not rely on a screen. Instead, all interactions take place via the LittleOne.Care app, available on both iOS and Android. The app features a unique interface, symbolized by an elephant trunk, which tracks key aspects of baby development. These include sleep patterns, activity levels, tummy time, mood, crying patterns, feedings, diaper changes, and even air quality. The device discreetly attaches to a baby’s clothing and does not emit radiation, making it both safe and comfortable.

While Elora is not a medical device, it offers parents a comprehensive tool for monitoring and supporting their baby’s development, along with creating a network of informed caregivers. What sets Elora apart is its use of AI algorithms that continuously learn from each baby’s behaviors and adapt over time. This allows the device to provide tailored insights on emotional, social, and physical development, giving parents valuable feedback to support their baby’s growth.

“As both a registered labor & delivery nurse as well as a certified birth doula supporting more than 500 families over the past decade, I can attest to the importance of community; pregnancy and birth is far more than an experience that just one individual navigates alone,” added Caitlyn Schollmeier, growth strategist, LittleOne.Care. “The support mom and baby receive can make a huge difference over the critical first 1,000 days, and Elora is a parenting technology that further puts the minds of parents and caregivers at ease, assuring them that they’ve done everything they can to best care for everyone involved.”

Beyond monitoring, Elora fosters a sense of community, and parents can share access to their child’s data with caregivers, family members, or even baby care professionals, such as lactation consultants and newborn specialists. These experts can review the baby’s development in real-time and offer guidance directly through the app, helping parents make informed decisions.

Elora also supports mothers throughout pregnancy, helping them track their physical and emotional well-being. This can be especially empowering, as many mothers often feel they lose focus on their own needs during pregnancy and early parenthood.
