Screen Innovations has introduced the KAOS 360 Rear-Pro, a motorized outdoor rear-projection screen designed for dual-sided viewing. The screen combines the company’s 360-degree optical technology with its KAOS Onyx Retention System.
The system supports screen sizes up to 24 feet wide. The Onyx Retention System is designed to keep the screen surface flat in outdoor conditions, with Screen Innovations claiming up to three times greater air-movement capability than conventional outdoor projection screens.
The company’s 360-degree optic uses light-diffusing particles embedded in the projection surface to distribute light across both sides of the screen. It produces a uniform image across a 160-degree viewing cone and allows for greater flexibility in projector placement through lens shift and keystone correction.
The KAOS 360 Rear-Pro retracts into a surface-mounted box or recessed pocket cassette when not in use. Multiple finishes are available for the cassette.
The screen is compatible with Screen Innovations’ broader ecosystem of screens, shades and control systems.
