Weeview has launched the market’s first 360-degree portable camera add-on module for Android phones and tablets.
The Weeview Eye-Plug connects via a MicroUSB port, shoots HD video at 30 fps, and is controlled by the free Eye-Plug app that enables users to focus, control background blur and apply image filters.
The module weighs less than a quarter ounce and features three plastic lenses and a filter. It has an F/2 F-stop and a 75.7-degree field of view.
Arashi Vision began shipping a clip-on 360-degree module for the iPhone earlier this month.
