Japanese drone manufacturer ACSL has announced a new partnership with Exertis Almo to help with growing interest around the company’s flagship SOTEN drone. The new partnership will leverage Exertis Almo’s xpertise to provide comprehensive distribution, support, and training to a growing UAS dealer base.
“ACSL is deeply committed to understanding and meeting the unique needs of the U.S. drone market. We’ve spent considerable time in the field since our initial launch into the US, learning from our users, and continuously improving our systems based on their feedback,” said Cynthia Huang, CEO of ACSL, Inc. “Our partnership with Exertis Almo marks a significant step forward in bringing our advanced UAS solutions to a broader audience.”
“Collaborating with ACSL to bring the flagship SOTEN drone to our partner network is an important opportunity,” said Eric Jameson, Business Development Manager, Drone Solutions, Exertis Almo. “ACSL’s NDAA/TAA-compliant drones provide versatile usage for inspection, surveying and surveillance across industries such as energy, public safety, and agriculture. As the leading trade-only distributor in the drone industry, Exertis Almo is committed to supporting integrators in navigating this growing market. We look forward to showcasing the SOTEN drone this spring at the Exertis Almo E4 Experience training and AV tech expos in Dallas and New Jersey.”
2025 will be another important year for ACSL as it continues to support the US drone market. This new partnership is the first step to expanding SOTEN availability and the company will also begin shipping its anticipated 640 radiometric thermal camera system in the Spring of this year. More recent firmware updates also focused on improving gimbal stability and video quality by optimizing motion-sensing algorithms, strengthening gimbal motor compensation, and improving the electronic image stabilization. The result is noticeably smoother live video from the aircraft and recorded footage. ACSL plans to continue its commitment to the market with a host of additional key product and feature updates throughout the rest of 2025.
