ProSource, the buying group for custom installers, lifted the veil on plans for its upcoming Spring Meeting.
Set to be held April 29 to May 3 at the La Cantera Resort and Spa in San Antonio, the annual gathering will feature speakers, workshops, working group sessions, product demos and plenty of networking opportunities. Members will also be able to meet one-on-one with the group’s vendor partners, and ProSource will hold its annual Vendor Awards.
Ben Arnold, senior director of innovation and trends at the Consumer Technology Association (CTA), will address the PRO Principals/Buyers meeting as a guest speaker. Sony president and COO Mike Fasulo will also present.
Power members will have the chance to attend interactive sessions from:
- Giles Sutton, senior VP of industry engagement at CEDIA, on Calibrate for the Correction;
- Ron Callis, Jr., CEO at One Firefly, on Marketing for Strategic Growth;
- Six Sigma Techniques presented by Jason Sayen, director of sales and business development at LK & Associates; and
- updates on the lighting category led by educator, author and lighting designer David K. Warfel.
This year’s charity recipient will be the Make-A-Wish organization. The super-hero-themed event will challenge 20 teams competing to build the best Lego creation in three categories: automotive, architecture and aircraft; the winning team will have a donation made on its behalf by ProSource.
“The focus of the Spring Meeting is to strengthen our members’ businesses by providing strategic guidance from industry experts, market trends, and new category opportunities,” said Dave Workman, CEO and president of ProSource. “The week is a satisfying mix of rich content and one-on-one conversations between members and vendors, providing actionable takeaways for each attendee.”
