Walmart announced what it called a glimpse of a broader website redesign.
Using its home furniture and décor category as the guinea pig, Walmart is giving the site a new destination page with curated collections, enhanced images and design tips. Consumers can also search for products by décor style.

The full redesign will launch later this year, according to the company.
Walmart is taking Amazon head-on in the battle for online sales, led by Jet.com founder Marc Lore. Although Walmart posted 23 percent growth for fourth-quarter digital sales (and 44 percent growth for all of 2017), its shares tumbled when it missed Wall Street projections this week.
