Visit AIMS at ISE 2020, Booth 15-B250

BOTHELL, Wash. — Feb. 7, 2020 — The Alliance for IP Media Solutions (AIMS) ProAV Working Group today announced the presentation program for ISE 2020, which runs Feb. 11-14 at the Amsterdam RAI. Presentations will focus on topics including Internet Protocol Media Experience (IPMX), the newly introduced set of open standards and specifications designed to enable carriage of compressed and uncompressed video, audio, and data over IP networks for the ProAV industry.

The program takes place in two locations for attendees to learn about IPMX, with introductory and technical topics being discussed. The AIMS Theater (Room G110) will feature presentations on Feb. 11, and AIMS will offer a unique lineup of content in its stand, 15-B250, from Feb. 11 to Feb. 13.

The full schedule of AIMS presentations is posted at https://aimsalliance.org/theater-presentations-ise-2020/, with details about speakers, topics, presentation times, and locations.

“IPMX addresses the ProAV industry’s need for a single set of common, ubiquitous standards-based protocols that ensure interoperability for AV over IP, and ISE 2020 provides an excellent forum for education and discussion of this important advance,” said David Chiappini, chair of the AIMS ProAV Working Group. “As the ProAV world increasingly moves toward IP networking, an understanding of IPMX and enabling standards and specifications will be essential. We look forward to hosting engaging presentations that offer attendees practical value and knowledge.”

The AIMS presentations will provide two tracks: a less technical Overview Track for attendees who want to understand the IP-related technology of IPMX, and a Technical Track designed for those who want to understand the underlying mechanics of IPMX and who are considering or planning adoption.

AIMS will exhibit in Stand 15-B250 at ISE 2020. More information about AIMS and its work is available at www.aimsalliance.org. Further information about ISE 2020 is available at www.iseurope.org.
